The Mission statement of the GECC is: "To unite the community by educating and assisting eligible individuals and families to receive tax credits and refunds to raise their living standards."

Vision Statement: Develop resources that will enable the GECC to continue to be a viable organization acting in the interest of low-income families, children and individuals.  Enhance processes to insure quality of product delivery.  Expand services through programs, partners and technology so that low-income families, children and individuals receive, with out cost, all tax benefits legally due them.

GECC Member Organizations include: AARP Foundation, Bank of America, Center for Economic Progress, City of St. Louis Department of Human Services, County Older Residents Program (CORP), Five Star Senior Center, Gateway Metro Credit Union, Internal Revenue Service, International Institute of St. Louis, MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries, Inc., MET Center, Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA), St. Louis Community College District, St. Louis Public Schools, The United Way of Greater St. Louis, The Youth and Family Center, University of Missouri, St. Louis, US Bank.
